A visit to Pappy's to say bye :(

We stopped in to see Pappy & everyone today since it'll only be about 2 more weeks till we close on the house. It's been at least 7 years since we've seen Vince & Stacie, & even longer since we've seen Richie. It was really GREAT to see them all. I would have taken more pictures, but I was "ball-guttin'" too much. I really do hope Sandy can swing through in her travels, to see us, Teresa better too!! And You ALL have an open invitation to our house. As little as I get to see Dad, Teresa & Sandy, I'm really going to miss them. Especially Dad!!! He's taught me sooo much! He'd better come down sometime!!!! He's gotta check on my gardening skills, & make sure there up to standard! But we'll be back up for visits for sure!! I sure do love you all!!! ALSO, a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Sharon for getting her US citizenship!! Gonna miss you & Uncle Dale too! Aunt Teresa helped the kids find worms to feed Mort & his new girlfriend & one of the jumped up & got Daniels finger, he's showing it in the one picture.

DON"T mess with MY rock

There were chair cushions in the yard & Cocoa took her rock (which she's Not aloud to have) & laid by it, so my dad went up by her. He eventually took her rock & told her it was his. As you can see she pounced him flat to get it back.

2nd Tooth

Sam (who is 5) lost his 2nd tooth Saturday, so Daniel asked if Sam was older that him now. Cute!

Daniel's "Busty Move"

Daniel showed us his newest move the other day & he finally decided to let me video him. He calls it his "busty move". I think he's confused it with Bust A Move :)

As party favors for the kids we got rocket balloons (cheep & Totally FUN). Of course the boys had to add a little water to them to see what would happen. Sorry if some of the videos are sideways, I haven't figured out how to flip them yet.

Early Brithday

The next few weeks may be really crazy for us so we decided to give Daniel his Birthday present a week early. He had NO clue! This is his first 2 wheel bike, so needless to say this evening he has a few more bruises than he started the day with & his leg muscles are sore, but he kept trying all day. David as you can see was the supervisor. And hopefully I can get some video to load.

Water fight

This was too cute to resist! David's saggy undies. :) Thursday last week the kids were having a water gun fight. All was fine & dandy till Victoria didn't think her water gun was shooting far enough, so she went in the house & got her spray bottle she uses for her hair. (CHEATER) She obviously had the upper hand then, so dad had to go & get his spray bottle we use to spray & mist the cages with. (powered by air pressure) It was an interesting battle.

An old project

This is a project Tori did in Science in Oct. but because we were gearing up to move we never got to show it off. While packing up a trailer with some of our stuff in the garage it turned up unharmed. She got an A++ on it. The best one in her class. Better late then never.

The Empty Pool...Again!

We caught Cocoa checking out the empty pool this morning. She hates the water, so I can't figure out why she would even bother. Anyway, once David saw her he decided to join her. She must have wanted it all to her self because as soon as I snapped the picture she bolted.

I believe Martha has been bitten by a Vampire bat! She looks like she's turning into one.

Some fresh air

Dan took our big boy "Basil" outside to get some good light, but the darn sun wasn't going to cooperate, but here they are anyway. He's still a little over weight (Basil of course) :) but he's thinning down nicely. He was really lumpy with fat when we got him. I guess all animals can be over fed.

Wake up sleepy head!

I forgot I took this last week. I was getting ready to feed them & he was sleeping with his head sticking out of the hide...too cute. As I snapped the picture he opened one eye.

Lazy weekend!

Didn't have the camera out much this weekend, but Daniel had asked me if he could go help pop work on the truck again, so I said sure. This is where I found him...lounging in an old seat. What a booger! He's got a new dance I've gotta try to catch on video.

I wanted to add just a few more links. Did you know that bees pollinate almost 1/3rd of the foods we eat. Amazing but true for such a small little critter. Tors 4th picnic in PA

THANK YOU LIISA for these pictures of the picnic. Tor spent the weekend home with Pop-pop again. They had a picnic Sat. night at Uncle John's with Mike, Liisa, & Aaron. She had a GREAT time & didn't miss us one bit.

Too much Gatorade, too much beer, too much sun? Your guess is as good as mine. Looks to me like Sam was tippin' the beer can next to him, and David is strung out on Chocolate cupcake, the evidence is still on his chin. And Dan, well.....it's gotta be too much sun.

The 4th weekend in NC

This has is definitely the smallest Cat-fish I've ever seen!

We had a GREAT time all weekend! Ken & Darcy took us out on the boat & we watched the fireworks from the lake. They are both doing Great!!!! Darcy has just entered her 7th. month and looks wonderful. I would have snuck more pictures, but she was elusive! Every time I had the camera out she disappeared. Kenny has been craving doughnuts & looks about 7 months too. JK Love you Ken:) They have finally picked names. Cody James & Madison Page...Cool huh? Not much to tell as far as house hunting.
