Still watching!

I have watched MANY interviews, and read a TON! And kept up on the conventions as much as I could since they're on so late. But there has not been anything yet to lead me to believe Obama is the best man for the job! Or that he is even qualified! He scares the crap out of me! I REALLY fear for our Country's well being & safety if he is elected. NC may not be my last move after all. PRAYING for the best!

WHO is Obama & where did her REALLY come from?

Does anyone have any good credible info on this guy? I'd Love to hear from you if you can answer these questions for me.

Sorry...Not trying to offend anyone!

I realize that my last post my have offended some people and I'm sorry for that. What I am Not sorry for is wanting to protect what we have here for my children & grand-children to enjoy! I am not in any way a HARD CORE Conservative, but there are other more important issues at hand here! Some people have a tendency to be so single minded they fail to open their eyes to the BIG PICTURE!! Your Constitutional rights will always be challenged at one time or another, and by either party, but as I see it EVERY UNITED STATES CITIZEN'S very first priority should be to protect our Nation! And that starts with selecting a leader who is competent, strong, and experienced! Obama is none of these!!! This man won't even have the United States Flag on his jet. Who is he suppose to be representing? He wants to represent the US in the highest position our Nation has to offer but in the same he's spitting on it with his disrespect. He says he wants to do SOOOO much, but fails to give any inkling on HOW he plans to do these things!! The church he attended, until recently, speaks VERY lowly of the white population in general, and he can't make any comments on this issue that could ever make me believe he had good reason to attend such a place! There is not much for "SCANDAL" to pull up about him, but his background (and lack of) speaks VOLUMES!

Remembering 9-11-01

I can't believe it's been 7 years since this overwhelming and unforeseen attack on the US! I can remember turning on the TV that morning with Daniel (only 1&1/2 months old) in my arms & Tor was still sleeping. What I saw at first, I thought was a movie. The 1st plane had hit the World Trade Center and people were running everywhere. Then I realized it was real, thinking what a terrible accident, not for a second thinking terrorist attack. As I watched & listened they started to talk about other planes missing in our Sky's & this being an attack, my blood went cold. I had a overwhelming feeling of helplessness. So many lives in danger & nothing I could do about it. Then as I watched the second plane hit the 2ND WTC Building I called Dan at work. I was scared out of my mind. After that allot is a blur, but I remember mom calling me from work to tell me she loved me. I watched the buildings crumble to dust! I was horrified! I couldn't believe my eyes! So many people lost their lives, & loved ones! What were we doing to protect our Great Nation? I wasn't sure what to do. Take the kids into the basement with all the canned goods I could get down the stairs, get into the car, where would we go? Dan called to see if we were OK. He told me to relax. Somewhere in my BLUR, a plane had crashed into the pentagon, and another went down somewhere in western PA. And they believed, for now, the terror was over. I know I was uptight for days after that and still felt like I needed to go someplace safer although I had NO idea where that might be. That evening I finally broke down and cried! The sadness I felt for all the people who lost their lives, and the ones who had lost children, moms, dads and other loved ones, I just couldn't imagine their pain! This time, every year since, I think about what happened, how I felt, & what steps we've taken to prevent another incident like this one. I really do say a prayer for everyone involved that day, good, bad, alive & passed.

With elections being just around the corner, above all else, my concern is protecting my Children, my Family, my Country, my Freedom! I hope all who read this do the same. All the other Parties difference in opinions are small compared to this one that we should all agree on, and that is PROTECTING what we ALL have here in the USA! McCain / Palin have our votes! GOD BLESS THE USA!!

The Hair coloring - UGH!

OK so here's the thing... Last year before school Tor wanted to frost her hair, so we did & it came out pretty good. This year she wanted to COLOR it either darker or lighter (more blond). She tried to talk me into Black or Blue, but I wasn't having that!! So we went to Walmart & she picked out a really nice Med. brown with Red highlights. WELL...for some weird reason her hair did not take on any of the brown, so we have punk RED!! SHE LOVES IT! Of course. It's not too bad once you get used to it. REALLY!

1st Day of School!!! YEAH!

Well, yesterday was back to school for Daniel & Tor & Sam's 1st day in Kindergarten. They all loved it!!! SO did David & I! This house hasn't been so peaceful since Daniel was a baby! It stayed fairly clean too! So the school year is off to a GREAT start without a hitch! In another few weeks though they'll probably be going to yet another school in NC! YEAH!! I don't want to jinx myself, but so far so good & we should be closing on a house right around the corner from Ken & Darcy on the 18th. We'll keep ya posted.
