Protecting Habitat and ALL its Residents!
I've added a few of our favorite sites on the side of the blog. Wildlife Conservation is very important to us, as it should be for everyone. This is a beautiful planet we've been given and it should be taken care of for all of us. I urge you all to really check out Amphibian Ark when you have the time. Those slimy little frogs & salamanders are our biggest indicators as to how badly pollution is affecting things. They've been called our "canaries in the coal mine." I could go on about a ton of other things but when you get the chance, please take a look. Thanks!

Welcome Little One! And Congats to the New Parents!
The New Little Miss Charley Dae Bors made her appearance at 12:11am this morning, weighing 8lbs. 1oz. with a head full of dark hair. My niece Crystal (yes I do still call you guys my nieces & nephews) and her husband Kelly have been patiently waiting for her to arrive on her own time. And from what I understand today is even her due date. Mom and baby are healthy and doing well. YEAH!! Congrats & Best Wishes to the new parents!! Thanks soooo much Teresa for keeping me posted & texting these pics. It really means alot to me! XOXOJune 25, 2008

Comment posting problems
OK, for everyone who has been having problems posting comments, I've changed some of the security settings so as long as you put your name at the end (so I know who's commenting) click the anonymous space before submitting your comment. That should cover it.

The girls!

Here's Hannibal's' Harem. Their names are Clarice, Starling, & Misha. Much cuter than the Millis! To answer some questions about the BIG BUGS. They eat fruits & veggies. If they pinch a little it means they are lacking calcium & protein, so you just give them some crushed egg shell. We saw them at a reptile expo & that's when we got the idea to get them for the boys. They are kept in a 10 gal tank w/ coconut fiber & cypress mulch, slightly damp, with temps ranging from 75*F to 85*F. Pretty simple. Oh & lost of places to hide. Daniel named his Milli-man. Sam named his Chick, and David named his Dinoco. I think that about covers it. I personally will stick with the geckos.:)
Boys Toys
These strange looking creatures are Giant African Millipedes...Perfectly Harmless! We've been promising the boys these for a while but just haven't been able to get them. Believe it or not they're a hot commodity! And about to be hotter because there is now a ban on importing them. I'm hoping that having these for pets (& maybe another breeding project) will keep them from bringing all the creepy crawlies in from outside. Sam's the worst for that, & I am terrified of spiders. (Don't make fun!) I know how weird it sounds considering all the critters we have, but they truly do TERRIFY me! Anyway, So far it has worked though. The only things they have brought in are worms to feed Snap & Snapple (the snapping turtles) That works for me!!!June 18, 2008
BAD NEWS!
Well, since no one seems to really know what they are talking about for this property, it seems it's a flop. Things would be so much easier if you could cut out the 2 or 3 middle men when it comes to real estate & Loan companies. No body ever seems to be on the same page. OH Well. Looks like we'll be making another trip to look at houses again. Ready or Not here we come!
